Aubrie's Lemonade Stand

"Our daughter has always had a big heart and has always wanted to do good deeds and do positive things. Well tonight in 100 degree weather we had a lemonade stand and it didn't go very well only 5 people showed up. Well being her mom I had to sit here and watch her cry because she was so upset, I was so worried this would make her not wanna ever do anything like this again. We try to tell our kids to help people in need, be there for people when they need it etc well that's what she is trying to do but she feels like this is her failing. She is raising money for the mercy mission house and her goal is $350. So with this being said she wants to try it again so Sunday we will be having another lemonade stand and selling other items to help her reach her goal. I know times are tough I understand that but I'm just trying to teach my daughter not to give up, keep trying and continue doing good things."

Was a great day for a great cause!! She was able to raise $2,052 for her Mercy Mission goal!
